This is Why Corvus Coffee is the best Denver Coffee Experience
There’s something about that morning coffee that has me starting my day in the right direction. Unless you’re a coffee snob, you cannot really explain the feeling to those who prefer other beverages. It is a feeling of content unlike any other. Heidi, the voice behind the wonderful blog Fly AwayU, knew of a wonderful spot in Denver Colorado – Corvus Coffee, that gives that satisfying caffeine fix and state of mind with every crafted drink. She loves this spot so much that she offered to share the details with us.
A little smile plays across David’s lips as his eyes close at the sip of his Corvus espresso. “That’s so good,” he purrs. Yep, my husband is purring; he’s enjoying his coffee this much. But everything is like that at Corvus Coffee Roasters in Denver, Colorado.

Corvus Coffee Has that Local Feel and Ambiance
Whether it’s the warm, homey feel of the modern contemporary coffee shop, the friendly love the baristas put into each cup, or the locally sourced pastries.
And boy does this place care! The baristas ask how you’re enjoying your pick of the day, seeing if they can or should make adjustments so that you genuinely do have the perfect cup of coffee. It’s one of the reasons David and I love Corvus Coffee so much. We’ve seen so few places outside of Italy put so much care into the coffee and the experience of coffee.
From Farm to Cup
All this love and care stems from Phil Goodlaxson, the owner of Corvus Coffee who travels the world seeking out the very best in coffee beans to complete Corvus’s single roast and blend delights. Phil doesn’t just talk the talk.
He searches farms high and low throughout Africa and Central and South America, with plans to add Asia shortly, for the perfect beans which are then roasted in-house under the careful eye of Phil or Corvus’s head roaster Jeremy.
On Monday through Thursday, stop by the primary location on Broadway and watch the birth of another batch of Corvus’s roasted coffee beans.

Cost and Locations
Surprising enough, experiencing this perfectly roasted coffee goodness doesn’t cost you any more than a cup of Starbucks, but the experience and taste are entirely on another level.
If you like what you’re drinking, you can take it home or sign up for one of Corvus’s subscription plans and have it delivered straight to your door.
And with two locations in Denver, Corvus Coffee isn’t hard to find.
The first location: 1740 S Broadway, Denver, CO 80210
The second location: 4925 S. Newport St., Denver, CO 80237
Both sites offer high-speed wi-fi with plenty of places to perch and work where freelancers and travelers can work, play or catch up with friends and loved ones. And plenty of comfort for the socialites to kick back, relax and hang out, including an outdoor fire pit at the Broadway location.
It’s sometimes hard for David and I to connect Corvus’s modern, sophisticated touches with the humble yoga studio 2011 beginnings where this excellent coffee roaster began.
But the one thing that’s remained true throughout the growth process, whether it’s in the innovate cold brew or hot, Corvus ALWAYS has an extraordinary cup of coffee and is still our favorite coffee shop in Denver.
