The Best Guide to Snow White Character Encounters at Disney
I remember growing up with Disney and the movie that always sparked conversation was Snow White. Perhaps since it was the first of all the full-length films, perhaps it was for the beloved story, perhaps it was for the incredible accomplishment in the 30’s and how unreal the animation was back then, when you compare it to the masterpieces made nowadays some 80 years later. Whatever the reason, it is still one of the more popular films so you can imagine how many guests on a Disney vacation wish to find the characters in the parks for that essential photograph and autograph session. Here is our no-fail list of locations for Snow White character encounters. Disney fans can find the favourite characters from the first animation picture and one of Walt Disney’s biggest achievements – Snow White.
Where to Experience Snow White Character Encounters
The Seven Dwarfs
A truly rare treat is to find these 7 little guys together. If you do get the incredible chance for a photo opp and Snow White character encounters, prepare yourself for a 2-hour-ish wait time. It is worth it and will give you long lasting memories. The dwarfs do have a photographer available for the Memory Maker or you can take your own photos.
These guys can be found all together at two special events yearly:
Mickey’s Not So Scary Christmas Party
This fun Halloween extravaganza brings out the fab 7 now and then. Plan your time wisely and you just may be out in the park at the same time!
The Very Merry Christmas Party
Another truly magical and festive event at the park, the Very Merry Christmas
On rare occasions you can meet Dopey on his own here.
She is a rare character to find, but she can be met and seen at Character Palooza in Disney Hollywood Studios (not guaranteed though!)
I have heard of her being at the Not So Scary Halloween Party so if you want to see her, it will sadly be left to chance at the short opportunity. Other characters have appeared during Characterpalooza as well. You can find this short event daily just outside the Fantasmic! show in Hollywood Studios.
Snow White – Herself
Epcot World Showcase – Germany
You can find Snow White at various times here in the World Showcase! Here is the best spot for Snow White character encounters so you can grab an autograph and photo! The Memory Maker team are there as well to grab that special photo.
Sometimes Snow White can be found at this short event in Hollywood Studios with Queen Grimhilde.
The Very Merry Christmas Party
She can be found with her prince this evening! Line up to meet her if you wish to meet her with her prince.
Cinderella’s Round Table
Here you may see her doing the rounds with character dining! Book this restaurant EARLY!
Akershus Royal Dining: This Epcot restaurant in the Norway area of the World Showcase, brings out the beautiful princesses including Snow White herself.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
This evening she can be found with Sleeping Beauty – Princess Aurora.
My advice for Snow White is that unless you really want to meet her Prince, she is best to meet in Epcot during the day so you save time during the 5 hours of the Halloween and/or Christmas Party.
The Old Hag is a very rare treat. She is hardly ever out so if you get her, think of it as a rare holiday blessing. She has been spotted in Disneyland Paris for Halloween events, and the odd (and I mean odd) occasion in The Halloween Party in Disneyland California. This could change in the future, but for now this is the only spot to see her.
Snow White’s Prince
The Prince does only a couple of meet and greets.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – Prince can be seen at this fun event with Snow White walking around the park and as part of the parade celebration.
The 1900 Park Fare Character Dining Restaurant – Disney World Grand Floridian: This wonderful restaurant is another opportunity to meet the Prince himself. Keep in mind that this restaurant is on a resort and not in the parks. Reservations are highly recommended.
I hope with this guide you meet all your favourites! Don’t forget to pack your autograph book and camera with you and seriously, invest in the Memory Maker. You will be glad you did. These Snow White character encounters are going to be memorable.
